Colette Whelan

Colette’s journey began as the youngest of twelve children on a small farm in Ireland. Her journey has brought her across the world, eventually to the Pacific Northwest, where she calls home and enjoys the beautiful outdoors with her husband and two Siberian huskies. Colette received her nursing education in Ireland, her Bachelor’s degree in nursing at OHSU, Portland, her Master’s degree at University of Philadelphia and her Doctorate in Nursing Practice as a Family Nurse Practitioner, at the University of Portland. Simultaneously, she has studied Functional Medicine and eastern philosophies through Ki Massage Therapy, Shiatsu and Reiki. Nurse Practitioners (NP) are nurses with advanced training to assess, diagnose, prescribe to promote health and manage disease states. Many states grant NP’s full practice authority to practice without physician supervision.  Colette is a dually board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner and Holistic Health Practitioner.
