Renae Blanton

Renae has been in healthcare for more than 25 years, beginning with her time serving active duty and as a reservist in the US Navy Nurse Corps. She pursued her ability to practice medicine as a nurse practitioner, graduating with her Master’s degree cum laude from the University of North Carolina School of Nursing in 1999 and moved to Homer in 2001.

Renae’s passion in medicine is integrating natural medicine, diet and life-style choices with conventional medicine. She believes in a provider-patient partnership where the health care practitioner offers expert consultation in health choices and care of oneself. Her passion is preventative and anti-aging medicine with an ultimate goal of all her patients being part of the longest living and healthiest community in the world – living until they die at a ripe old age, still driving, walking, and dancing until the very end.
