Renae has extensive experience in holistic and integrative medicine with specialization in family medicine, women’s health and bio-identical hormone replacement, and treatment of chronic illness including chronic fatigue, diabetes, high blood pressure and digestive disorders.
Christine is excited to be a part of the SVT Health & Wellness medical team. She considers Alaska her home and is happy to have returned here after finishing her graduate training at Yale University and working in the Community Health Center setting back east. She loves to berry pick, hike, ski and spend time with her husband and dog.
Page Herring is a 50 year resident of Alaska with over 25 years of experience in midwifery as well as time spent in other medical fields. She obtained her certification as a Physician Assistant from the University of Washington School of Medicine and, having previously worked at Ilanka Community Health Center of The Native Village of Eyak, she’s familiar with the operations and specificities of working as a health professional in a rural village area.
Dr. Stapp grew up in North Pole and graduated from UNLV School of Dental Medicine in 2015. He first shadowed a dentist back in high school and loved the idea of working with people and trying to make a difference in their oral health and how they smile. Now that he is a dentist, Dr. Stapp has gained a wide range of experience in oral surgery, restorative work, fixed prosthetics, dentures and partial dentures, and many other procedures. He looks forward to meeting you!
Originally from Manhattan, Montana, Jennifer Hayes attended ODS College of Dental Sciences/Oregon Institute of Technology. She graduated with her Bachelors of Sciences in Dental Hygiene in August 2010. She moved to Homer the following month and began working at SVTHC as a Registered Dental Hygienist. She takes pride in making a difference in people’s lives “one smile at a time.”
Melody has been a resident of Alaska for nine years and in Homer for four years. She began her Massage Therapy career in Washington in 1999 and for the past 15 years has focused on medical and injury treatment as well as energy healing. She utilizes a variety of modalities and tailors each session to fit the needs of the client. Available Monday through Friday, please call to schedule your appointment.
Bob offers individual, family and group psychotherapy, plus substance abuse treatment, with a focus on a holistic, self-directed approach. He has experience working with all age groups and received his Masters in Clinical Psychology in 2003.
Amy is a licensed acupuncturist and certified Chinese herbalist. She is nationally certified by the National Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine and holds a Master of Science in Oriental Medicine degree.
Her interest in alternative medicine began after receiving successful acupuncture treatments to improve her own health and wellbeing. She looks forward to sharing this profound healing modality with you.
